The search for the best anti- dandruff shampoo: Hana

Have you ever felt like Elsa from the movie, Frozen? Let it go (snow flakes), let it go (snow flakes) but yours are dandruff flakes falling out of your hair! Eek! Don't worry, I share the same sentiment. I too, have dandruff but I am willing to get rid of it. I recently bought and used Hana anti- dandruff shampoo in the supermarket and decided to share my thoughts about it. I used it for about 18 days now so there is already a change in my hair. 

Product Features:

Packaging: Great packaging and the content of one sachet is enough for two uses.

Smell: It smells quite nice, but just like a normal shampoo. It has a distinct smell but it is not "perfume-y" it's just a soapy smell. The smell also doesn't last all day. Although that's okay for me since I wear perfume and I don't want my perfume clashing with my shampoo fragrance. 

Lather: Hana shampoo lathers up pretty well. A sachet of 10 ml shampoo lasted me 2-3 uses depending on how icky my hair felt.

Irritability: The shampoo is not at all irritable to the scalp. Thankfully The product did not reach my eyes so I am not testing it on mine if it irritates my eyes or what.

Effect on hair based on experience:

My hair was semi-permanently colored (10 weeks only, will soon post about it later on) so using this shampoo striped off a bit of color in my hair. The shampoo on the first wash, did not have any effect on my hair at all but after the second and third wash, my dandruff was relatively minimized. I'm glad I tried this shampoo. It was my first time to try the brand itself. Last note on this one though, it did not eliminate all my dandruff but it made a significant difference in the itchiness of my scalp. 

This product is good for:

People with minimal dandruff, the ones that are not "snowflake type". Unfortunately I had a lot of dandruff in my hair so it did not remove everything. 

Why shift?

There are also variants of this shampoo, but as of now, I'm sticking out with trying out other anti- dandruff shampoos in the market. I am looking out for something that can remove totally everything. For you normal haired ladies, you can switch it up and try the pink one, I heard it smells good.
